I Am the Fish

A body all in exit wounds was lying silent on the floor of a silver palace, gloriously forgotten.
The soul was aching contemplating silence, conscious and jaded. A nonsense flow of coloured visions anesthetized the soul's body. It seemed like nothing relevant was left and patience was wearing thin. Desires simmered down. The ashes of thoughts have covered life on her way out of the body.
What's left was nothing sharp, and the eternal anguish tortured the inflamed bullet wounds.
The eyes were open wide, they hurt to see, yet it was harder still for the abandoned heart to breathe in bitterness.
That very moment,
Life has forgotten how to fly and learned to swim.
The body was cold now, but it was then its soul began to talk of birds that live up in the sky, to talk of fish that flutter in the water, to talk of people who drink earth oil and keep their conscience caged, its head uncovered.
Meanwhile, somewhere in God forsaken corner of the globe, disregarding man's weakness, vice and sinfulness, a new arch was being built for all the people of the coming age!
